While VDOE is performing tasks related to the processing of reimbursement claims for payment, the SFAs can be restricted from accessing the Claim Entry component of the system using the Claims Lockout maintenance function.
When locking SFAs out of Claim Entry, a lockout reason may be entered that will display to SFAs attempting to access online claims.
To lock all SFAs out of the Claim Entry function, check the 'Check to lock out entry of claims to non-state users' check box. Enter the lockout reason in the Comments text box.
To 'unlock' the Claim Entry function, un-check the 'Check to lock out entry of claims to non-state users' check box.
The Comments need not be deleted when unlocking claims.
