Verification of Eligibility for School Meals must be performed annually. The Verification Menu provides access to the Verification Worksheet and Verification Reapplication forms that must be submitted to VDOE.

Verification Worksheet - The Verification of Eligibility for School Meals worksheet is used to calculate the minimum required sample size of applications to be verified. This worksheet may be used to calculate the October 31 eligibility. Another function of this worksheet is to report the verification methods and results. Verification activities must be completed annually by December 15. The online Verification Worksheet must be submitted to VDOE by in January 31.
Verification Reapplication - The Reapplication and Reinstatement of Benefits Report is used to report on the number of households whose benefits have been terminated because of verification, that reapplied for meal benefits. The online Verification Reapplication must be submitted to VDOE by March 1.
