Manual Adjustments

The Manual Adjustments form is used to make adjustments to SFA accounts. Once an annual adjustment is created, it must be 'Processed' using the Post Payments accounting function so the adjustment information may be exported to the State accounting system.

A Transaction Type is selected from the drop-down list to indicate whether the adjustment will increase or decrease funds due to or from the SFA.

The Account selected determines which of the SFA’s programs the adjustment will be made to.

If the Transaction Type selected is a 'Manual Adjustment Decrease', the Amount must be entered as a negative number (e.g., -50.00)

The reason for the adjustment is entered in the Comments field.
